Freelance Part-Time Picture Framer (with potential permanent role)

We are looking to hire a creative, well-rounded individual as a picture framer to join our bespoke framing business based in Hoxton, London.

This is a freelance role (2-3 days per week) to begin with, but in early 2026 we expect to offer the position as a permanent 3-day role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexibility now, with the security of a longer-term role in the near future.

This position will be very hands-on and will require a wide skillset. You will be involved in all aspects of the production of our picture frames and print products, as well as assisting with our art exhibitions and openings.

Full training will be provided, but experience working within a picture framing workshop will be greatly advantageous. Skills in any of the following will be beneficial:

• Mounting artworks

• Frame production - cutting and joining frames, sanding and finishing

• Cutting glass and backing boards

• Fitting and finishing frames

• Word & Excel

• Carpentry work

• Art and exhibitions

• Sales and customer service

Details:

• Freelance, 2-3 days per week

• Permanent 3-day role expected from early 2026

• Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 pro rata (for permanent role), freelance day rate to be agreed
