Description
The Operations Coordinator (Building and Facilities) has a crucial role in Studio Voltaire’s Operations team, providing support in all aspects of the operational, facilities, administrative, and financial management of the not-for-profit organisation and its building in Clapham.
Under the direction of the Head of Finance and Operations and General Manager, the Operations Coordinator (Building and Facilities) works to guarantee the smooth running of the organisation's operational processes and procedures, ensuring that our building is safe, compliant and well-maintained for its visitors, studio holders, partners and staff.
This is an exciting and dynamic position, working in tandem with our Operations Coordinator (Visitor Experience) to collaborate in providing a wide range of operational support functions across the organisation, supporting key stakeholders, including our our onsite restaurant partner Crispin.
- Contract: 1 year, fixed-term with potential to extend
- Hours: Part-time, 4 days per week. Working days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and alternate Saturday/Sunday, from 10.30 am-6.30 pm
- Salary: £29,400 per annum pro rata

- Ensure public spaces, studios and building exterior are safe and well presented at all times through coordinating building maintenance, proactively making improvements across the site, ensuring best value for money and high-quality workmanship from our external contractors, as directed by the General Manager
- Support the General Manager in administering building contracts and utilities bills (Internet, telephone, waste, cleaning, utilities, office supplies, temporary licences, etc.) ensuring invoices are shared with the bookkeeper in a timely manner
- Deal with Health and Safety and Safeguarding incidents promptly and confidently, observing incident reporting procedures and act as a Keyholder, ensuring that the building is secured and alarm procedures are followed and that Studio Voltaire Assistants are briefed on them
