Perform is recruiting a highly organised, proactive and resourceful Office Manager to play a key role in the smooth running of our busy children's drama organisation. Founded in 2000, Perform now delivers hundreds of drama classes, holiday courses and school workshops every week across more than 350 venues. This is a varied, hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day running of our London office as well as supporting our network of teachers and Producers across the country. Key responsibilities include managing the office and premises, coordinating maintenance and contractors, overseeing office supplies, equipment, IT support, filing and storage and ensuring Health & Safety requirements are met. The Office Manager will also support staff administration, process DBS applications and Right to Work checks, organise First Aid training and maintain accurate compliance records. A key part of the role is liaising with Perform's teachers and Producers, ensuring they have the materials, equipment, information and practical support they need to deliver their classes and courses successfully. Perform is looking for a natural problem-solver who takes ownership, anticipates what needs doing and gets things done. The successful candidate will be exceptionally organised, calm under pressure, practical and friendly, with excellent attention to detail and strong IT and communication skills. Supporting Perform's Health & Safety requirements and maintaining relevant records.
Acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day IT and office equipment issues and liaising with external IT support where required.
Managing office supplies, stationery, printed materials, equipment, deliveries and post.
Maintaining efficient filing, storage and archiving systems.
Liaising with suppliers, obtaining quotes, checking invoices and monitoring relevant expenditure.
