Are you a freelance producer of theatre and musical theatre? Are you interested in working in partnership with a writer/director to develop multiple musical theatre projects? Do you have experience of developing new musicals? Emma Hill is looking for a UK-based musical theatre producer. The producer will work closely with Emma to develop and refine a suite of musical theatre ideas, that are all at different stages of development. The work will include: interrogating and prioritising the ideas; helping plan a workshop for one potential production; strategic planning for future funding and pitching. The work will take place intermittently, and on a flexible basis, from Nov 25 to Apr 26, totalling 5-6 days work over the time period. The work is funded by a DYCP grant from Arts Council England. A fixed freelance fee of £1k is available for this initial stage of work, with a view to working together to secure future funding and investment. Emma's work is multi award-winning and nominated across place, platform and form, with a strong track record of funding success. Emma is also a producer and experienced funding bid and pitch writer, so the workload will be shared and will be discussed and mutually agreed in writing, ahead of working together. Please get in touch, if you have the relevant experience and interest, and would like to arrange a conversation with Emma about working together.
