Job Description

This is a creative, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys leading sessions, performing, and bringing music to life for young children.

Salary: £30-£44 per session (dependent on qualifications and experience)

What You'll Do:

1. You will lead and deliver weekly music sessions.
2. You will adapt lesson plans as necessary to suit the needs of your class.
3. Ideally bring and play your own instrument during sessions (e.g. guitar, ukulele, keyboard), but this is not mandatory.
4. Lead group singing, rhythm activities, and movement-based musical play.
5. Set up and prepare the session space in advance.
6. Source simple props (e.g. shakers, scarves) where needed.
7. Deliver engaging, age-appropriate musical activities.
8. Welcome families and create a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
9. Take attendance and complete session registers/forms.
10. Support smooth running of the session from start to finish.
11. Support with toilet trips throughout, and a group trip after each session if needed.
