Job Description

At Bristol Academy of Drama, we believe every young person deserves the chance to find their voice, grow in confidence and have fun through the magic of performance.

As we celebrate our 10th year (whoohoo!), we're looking for a friendly, organised Membership Administrator to join our small but passionate team.

You'll be at the heart of our day-to-day operations - welcoming new families, keeping memberships and databases in order, helping us move to a shiny new CRM system, and supporting our growing community of young performers.

If you're a people-person with an eye for detail, a head for organisation, and a passion for the arts or education, we'd love to hear from you!

Mostly remote (with the odd Bristol coffee catch-up)
7 flexible hours per week - success in role will allow for more hours offered
Additional hours available for one off projects

  • IT-savvy, with solid Excel skills and an eagerness to learn new systems.
  • Motivated, reliable, and able to work independently as part of a remote team.
  • Passionate about the arts, education, and making a difference in young people's lives.

Nice-to-Have (but not essential)

  • Experience with CRMs, basic bookkeeping, or customer service.
  • Marketing, flyering, or social media experience (Canva skills are a bonus!).
  • Social media or newsletter creation experience
  • Experience working with young people or in an educational setting.
  • Website maintenance using Wix or similar.

The Practical Bits

  • 7 hours per week, ideally spread across a few days (we can be flexible).
  • We mostly work remotely (via WhatsApp Web and shared systems), with occasional in-person meetups or caf co-working in Bristol.
  • You'll need a suitable home working setup.

Job Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

  • Helping us move over to a new High Level CRM system, updating data and setting up workflows so everything runs like clockwork.
  • Processing new enquiries from students and families, being that first friendly point of contact.
  • Making target-driven but friendly follow-up calls (no cold calling!) to people who've already shown interest, providing great service and plenty of enthusiasm.
  • Working with the Artistic Director and Lead Administrator to set and smash achievable goals (this isn't commission-based - we just want someone motivated and full of ideas!).
  • Using our Love Admin system to make sure students are correctly registered and allocated to the right classes.
  • Supporting with annual billing, refunds, and other bits of admin (training given).
  • Keeping on top of your workload, communicating clearly with the team, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Staying cool under pressure and maintaining your keen eye for detail - even on the busy days!
