Job Summary

Apollo Art Auctions is looking for a creative, commercially minded and hands-on Marketing & PR Manager to lead and deliver our marketing, communications and PR activities.

Job Description

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who combines strategic thinking with strong project management and creative execution. You will be responsible for developing and delivering marketing campaigns that increase sales, strengthen our brand presence and engage both existing and new clients.

Working closely with auction house managers, specialists and the wider operations team, you will play a key role in promoting our auction calendar, developing compelling campaigns and ensuring that our brand is represented consistently and professionally across all channels.

We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, creative, organised and confident. You should be comfortable taking ownership of projects from strategy through to execution and working across multiple areas of the business.

An interest in art, antiques, collectibles, auctions or the luxury sector would be highly advantageous.

Job Requirements

Proven experience in marketing, communications, PR or a related role.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience creating and managing digital and social media campaigns.
Experience with Google Ads, email marketing and website content management.
Strong creative judgement and an eye for high-quality visual content.
Experience developing relationships with media, publications and external partners.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign performance and marketing data.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach.
The confidence to work independently while collaborating effectively with specialists and management.
Plan, film and present short-form video content personally, showcasing upcoming auctions, individual lots, collections, and interviews with specialists.

Job Responsibilities

-Plan and deliver marketing campaigns for upcoming auctions and business initiatives.
-Manage social media, email marketing, website content and Google Ads.
-Develop PR opportunities and build relationships with media, publications and industry partners.
-Create engaging written, visual and video content for digital and social channels.
-Plan and present short-form video content and represent the brand confidently on camera.
-Manage campaign timelines, budgets and performance reporting.
-Work with specialists to identify interesting objects, stories and content opportunities.
-Support B2C marketing and client engagement initiatives.
-Maintain a consistent and professional brand identity across all channels.
