Role Summary
The Marketing Manager (Commercial) will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and work closely with the Marketing & Commercial, Events, Operations, Production, Development and Education & Community teams to ensure the smooth delivery of marketing and content campaigns for all commercial income generating activity across the organisation. These include, but are not limited to, food & beverage, commercial events and hires, public events in the Studio, fee-paying workshops and training schemes and audience development initiatives such as tours, pop-up events and OV Local.

The post holder must be able to demonstrate the following:

Proven experience at a mid-level in a marketing team responsible for income generation
Excellent attention to detail and ability to proofread
Able to proactively manage concurrent projects to tight deadlines in an environment with competing demands
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Ability to work collaboratively

Job Requirements

Marketing
To lead the delivery of creative, targeted and energetic marketing and content campaigns for all commercial income generating activity (excluding productions) in order to increase footfall and support each relevant team to achieve financial targets
To support the CMO in the delivery of the audience development strategy across all public and income generating spaces
To act as a key brand guardian for the creation of all brand collateral, working alongside the Senior Digital Designer and CMO to ensure all external communications are on brand and in line with tone of voice guidance
To support the Head of Commercial Event Sales and Operations team in the creation of promotional collateral and tactical campaign delivery to promote those spaces
To lead the delivery of marketing and content campaigns to promote public events in the Studio
To lead the delivery of marketing and content campaigns to promote fee-paying workshops or corporate training sessions created by the

Job Responsibilities

Digital
To lead the day-to-day management of the relevant sections on The Old Vic's website, updating and maintaining dynamic content including writing and editing copy and sourcing images to support income generation
To work with our Associate Filmmaker to manage content capture of all commercial spaces on an ongoing basis to use for marketing and communications purposes including photography and video
To work alongside the Communications & Content team to develop a content strategy for income generating activity that compliments the existing strategy.

General Duties
To raise purchase orders, administer and file invoices.

This is not an exhaustive list of duties and the theatre's management may, at any time, allocate other tasks which are of a similar nature or level.
