Job Summary

The Marketing Coordinator will lead on the delivery and development of Theatre503’s marketing strategy. Having had a Marketing Coordinator in post for 2-days per week for the past year, we are expanding this role and embedding it further within the core team as we grow as an organisation.

Job Description

Duties include - but are not limited to - the following:

  • Developing and delivering an integrated Marketing Strategy working alongside the theatre's Producer and PR.
  • Developing pre-existing relationships and forging new links within the local community and setting out a strategy for bringing in a local audience.
  • Maintaining and updating our digital media guidelines with advice for engaging current and potential audiences on digital media, and methods of tracking these results.
  • Maintaining and updating marketing templates, including for e-newsletters.
  • Maintaining and updating the website, in collaboration with the General Manager.
  • Leading on the marketing of Theatre503's in-house productions, alongside our Producer and PR.
  • Leading on the creation and strategy of marketing content and assets.
  • Working with the Producer and Theatre503's incoming companies to help them devise their own show-specific marketing strategies. Monitoring spend on each element of a marketing campaign and ensure maximum ROI is achieved.
  • Actively participating in press nights and other events representing Theatre503.
  • Managing Theatre503's social media channels, including but not limited content creation including Reels, generating ideas, planning and to scheduling posts, responding to messages and implementing paid advertisements.
  • Continuing to build and develop our User Generated Content (UGC) library with the aim of showing the personality and spirit of 503 for use in various comms such as social media posts and Reels.
  • Support the wider team to develop 503's branding and voice to ensure consistency across all public facing elements of the organisation.

Job Requirements

ESSENTIAL

  • Experience of implementing integrated marketing strategies
  • Experience of a target-driven approach to audience development
  • Extensive experience using digital media communication as an audience development tool and understanding of the digital cultural movement
  • Experience using email management systems such as Dotdigital or Mailchimp to send mass mailers to our database
  • Knowledge of social media functionality and trends
  • Good understanding of Google Analytics
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and deliver to deadline, and the ability to work independently
  • An interest in theatre generally, and new writing in particular
