About the Project

Following the Off West End Award-winning On Me, Caroline Lamb's new play Make It follows Gina, a fiercely talented sculptor whose long-awaited big break arrives just as she discovers she's unexpectedly pregnant. With no room for deferral and a crumbling support system, Gina must choose between career and motherhood.

Make It is a sharp, intimate piece about ambition, bodily autonomy, class, and the realities facing women working in the arts today.

The Role

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to lead the promotional push for small Fringe show: Make It. You'll work closely with the producer and creative team to shape and deliver marketing that connects the show with the right audiences.

This role is ideal for someone working towards a careerin theatre, arts, or grassroots cultural marketing, who understands - or is learning - how to generate visibility with limited time and budget.

Fee: £705.60 total (£12.60/hour 56 hours - Manchester Living Wage)

Duration: 56 hours total, split flexibly across January-February 2026

Location: Remote or Salford/Manchester-based

Contract: Fixed-term freelance

Job Requirements

Experience in marketing and/or digital marketing

Strong social media skills and copywriting ability

An interest in theatre, arts, or socially engaged work

Ability to work independently and manage time well

Familiarity with arts marketing on a small budget is a plus

Job Responsibilities

Work with the producer, create and deliver a marketing plan for the show

Write engaging copy and create content for social media

Schedule and manage posts across platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X)

Liaise with listings websites, newsletters, and relevant cultural platforms

Support press outreach (press release drafting or pitching if needed)

Help identify and reach target audiences
