Are you passionate about marketing? We are looking for a new Marketing Coordinator.

Job Description

As the Marketing Coordinator at Black Country Touring, you will be responsible for leading on the organisation's public profile.

Your role will be to tell the story of BCT and our community partners to current and potential audiences, artists, funders and communities by immersing yourself in our communities, our shows and the stories behind the work.

As well as delivering content and managing platforms and campaigns, you will oversee how we connect with people and how our values, impact and programme are communicated to a wide range of stakeholders.

So whether it's championing new content ideas, generating buzz around a festival, or helping us build deeper relationships with our partners; your voice and creativity are essential to growing our reach and presence in an ever-changing online world. -

Hours: 21 hours per week to be worked flexibly (based on 3 days per week). -

Salary: £16,500 (£27,500 FTE)

Job Requirements

The desired candidate will ideally:

- Have excellent project management, scheduling and time management skills

- Be driven and able to take the initiative with new project ideas and opportunities

- Have experience using Canva, Squarespace (or similar) and Mailchimp

- Be experienced in recording and editing film and audio content for social media

- Be passionate about the potential of social media and comms platforms to attract new audiences, and excited by the challenge of growing the company's reach and profile

- Have an interest in the performing arts, particularly in community settings and engaging with diverse Black Country audiences

- Have good attention to detail

- Be comfortable working flexible hours including attending evening and weekend events

- Be an effective collaborator, who enjoys working across a small team and is keen to share their ideas and perspective
