Concord Theatricals is seeking a creative, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about theatre to join their UK team. The Marketing Communications Associate supports the company's licensing and retail goals through collaborative marketing initiatives.

Job Description

Content Strategy and Campaign Planning - Support the Senior Director Marketing (Europe) with top-level strategy execution, including contributing to brainstorm and planning meetings - Develop engaging and creative ideas to promote titles and authors - Draft marketing copy for all channels including the website, social media, editorial platforms, print ads and email comms - Collaborate to support the department's design and media strategy to support licensing, retail and brand awareness efforts - Ensure all design work is consistent with brand guidelines and visual identity - Stay current with social media and digital trends, layering into design work as appropriate - Support video (filming/editing) and photography work, as needed - Provide content and marketing support to our German office Digital Marketing - Create and schedule social media content across platforms to promote titles and engage audiences - Assist in developing and distributing email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation and performance tracking - Coordinate and support paid digital advertising efforts - Assist with SEO strategies and Google Ads campaigns - Analyse campaign performance to inform future digital strategies - Organise co-promotions with professional productions, including managing takeovers and content capture Editorial Strategy - Support in updating and maintaining our 10k+ page website - Contribute to the strategy and write pieces for our editorial magazine platform Department Support - Manage administrative tasks for the department as necessary - Lead on quarterly Salesforce data input and reporting - Attending a range of public and industry-facing events - Coordinate cross-departmental and cross-label social strategies Project Liaison - Serve as key contact for projects with other departments or external contacts, as needed

Job Requirements

- 3-4 years of experience in a relevant position - Knowledge of and/or interest in theatre - Strong writing and editing skills - Familiarity of Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and/or other design platforms such as Canva - Strong project management skills including exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work on simultaneous priority projects with pre-determined deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Understanding of common social media practices, platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok) and strategy - Self-motivated, but takes direction well - Proven ability to work well with all levels of professionals in a collaborative environment - Not required, but considered a plus: -- Experience with email marketing platforms (i.e Klaviyo, Mailchimp) -- Experience with social media monitoring and analytics platforms (i.e.Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Facebook Business Manager)

Job Responsibilities

- Assist in the execution of integrated marketing communication plans to support Concord Theatricals Europe licensing, retail and promotional efforts - Coordinate and maintain key marketing strategies and campaigns, identifying new target markets - Support content strategy initiatives to elevate titles and authors across all marketing channels such as social media, website, e-comms, events etc - Design, draft and edit dynamic marketing content, email campaigns and promotional materials - Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to highlight new acquisitions, major productions, milestone anniversaries and other campaigns - Monitor and report on the performance of digital and communications campaigns using analytics tools - Support content creation for social media, including scheduling posts, managing assets and community management - Coordinate and run events and industry conferences - Provide administration support as needed
