Organised and detail orientated, our Marketing Assistant will support the team to deliver a creative digital content across our popular social media channels. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be needed to develop relationships with key partners and Rotherham Council communication team. We are seeking a Marketing Assistant who has excellent time management skills and is able to adapt to change and deadlines. Leading on the development of printed material, our Marketing Assistant will work with designers, artists and partners to produce high quality marketing materials for venues and exhibitions. This role is for 22.2 hours a week. It is funded by Arts Council England through the National Portfolio Organisation Investment. *Knowledge and experience of creating digital content to use on a range of social media platforms. *Demonstratable ability to manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets and flyers, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs. *Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with other council communications and marketing team members, ensuring an integrated campaign approach. *High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all marketing and promotional activities *Experience of using a range of computer applications and ICT including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, internet, and e-mail *Experience of handling, recording, and analysing information with a high degree of care, accuracy, confidentiality, and security. The Marketing Assistant will: o Contribute to the development of and implementation of marketing campaigns designed to maximise audiences, users, visits and income. o Lead on the production and distribution of marketing materials including leaflets and flyers. o Support the service in conducting marketing campaigns such as temporary exhibitions. o Support the team to deliver a digital programme across social media platforms and collating data on reach and followers. o Maintain effective relationships with other elements of the council wide communications and marketing team to facilitate the provision of an integrated council wide campaign based approach.
