Wellbeing in the Arts provides mental health and wellbeing support to the creative industries by offering access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), production support, mental health first aid training, workshops, talks, events, and much more. We work with a diverse range of over 125 trainee and qualified Counsellors and Coaches, and in the last twelve months, over 1,500 people have accessed our counselling and coaching service with over 10,000 sessions being delivered. Our organisation supports companies of all sizes across the creative industries both nationally and internationally. We are looking to recruit a Marketing and Communications Officer who will be responsible for creating and delivering our marketing strategy, developing strong press and media relations, and helping to raise awareness of the work we do. The main duties will include: Design and deliver marketing strategies with the aim of increasing awareness of our organisation. Create, edit and post original social media content on our multiple channels Produce digital assets for use across social platforms and external communications. Oversee the design and proofing of all marketing materials. Ensure brand consistency and tone of voice across all outputs. Develop relationships with key press contacts to ensure our organisation is considered a go-to source for stories, opinion and representation. All of our work so far has come through word of mouth and we believe now is the time to develop our marketing and communication strategy. This role will play an essential part in the next stage of our organisation's growth. The ideal candidate must have: A degree level or equivalent qualification with experience of working in a professional arts based environment and relevant knowledge of marketing, press and publicity. Experience of developing and implementing original and engaging marketing and communications strategies, including online and social media content. A knowledge and experience of managing press campaigns. An enthusiasm for the provision of mental health and wellbeing support. A strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads and YouTube, as well as current trends, etc. Knowledge and experience in IT software and packages such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Excellent communication and copywriting skills (written and verbal) An ability to work both self-sufficiently and collaboratively as part of a busy organisation. A non-judgmental attitude to mental health issues. A positive, friendly and personable manner. The successful candidate will be expected to: Design and deliver marketing strategies with the aim of increasing awareness of our organisation. Monitor, track, analyse and report on engagement levels, current trends, campaign performances, etc. Ensure brand consistency and tone of voice across all outputs. Develop relationships with key press contacts to ensure our organisation is considered a go-to source for stories, opinion and representation.
