As our Management Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the financial sustainability and strategic direction of Italia Conti. Working closely with the Director of Finance, Senior Leadership Team and budget holders, you'll produce accurate and insightful management information to support decision-making across the organisation. You'll lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial analysis, helping colleagues understand the story behind the numbers. This varied and influential role combines technical accounting expertise with strong business partnering. You'll develop financial models, support strategic projects, prepare reports for senior leaders and governors, and help ensure compliance with the expectations of an Office for Students-registered higher education provider. You'll also contribute to the continual improvement of financial systems, reporting and processes, helping Finance deliver an outstanding service across the institution. We're seeking a professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA), part-qualified, or experienced management accountant with excellent analytical skills and strong commercial awareness. You'll be able to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to colleagues from a wide range of professional backgrounds. The role includes line management responsibility for two members of the Finance team, so you'll be confident building positive relationships, managing competing priorities and maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, professionalism and integrity. Advanced Excel skills are essential, while experience of Sage 200 and the education, charity or higher education sectors would be advantageous.
