Deadline for applications: 12 noon, 16th March 2026 Shape the sound. Grow new songwriters. At The Glasshouse International Centre for Music, Make Music is where people of all ages dive in - singing, playing, writing, experimenting. No gatekeeping. No jargon. Just proper music-making, together. We're looking for a Songwriting Theory Tutor to lead an in-person Introduction to Songwriting Theory course. You'll design and deliver weekly three-hour sessions that unpack melody, harmony, rhythm, and song form in ways that make sense. Each session blends clear, practical explanation, active listening to real songs, hands-on writing, and open discussion with peer feedback. By the end, participants will have shaped at least one original track and feel confident about their next steps. We're looking for someone who is a songwriter, composer, producer, or music practitioner with strong creative experience, confident leading diverse groups, and skilled at giving honest, constructive feedback. You believe music education should be open, inclusive, and human. Your work will help emerging musicians build skills, find their voice, and take creative risks in a safe, supportive space. If you're ready to shape a class-act programme and help new songwriters turn ideas into gold, we want to hear from you.
