LX Technician, Rodeo Productions

Great Show Productions are looking for an LX Technician to work on the production COME ALIVE! THE GREATEST SHOWMAN CIRCUS SPECTACULAR.
They will assist the Head and Deputy Head of Lighting with the installation and maintenance of all lighting equipment to ensure that all systems operate smoothly during shows and rehearsals.

Key responsibilities:
Attend all rehearsals, performances, maintenance calls, get-ins, fit-ups, get-outs and any additional calls as required, including emergency call-outs where necessary.
Develop a thorough knowledge of all lighting equipment specific to the production.
Maintaining the Production as instructed and dictated by the creative team and Head of Lighting in line with the artistic requirements and direction of the Production.
Operate lighting consoles, Macular remote followspots and show cues during performances, rehearsals as required.
Carry out routine equipment inspections, fault-finding and preventative maintenance to ensure all lighting systems remain performance-ready.
Assist in maintaining accurate cue sheets, technical documentation and department paperwork to support the ongoing running of the production.
Be aware of understudy, swing and alternate performances.
Having a practical understanding of the Producer's employment policies and demonstrating a willingness to comply with, and implement, these policies;
Working in accordance with the Producer's Health and Safety policy, which may include working at height and using appropriate safety equipment and clothing
Complying at all times with the rules and regulations in force at the venues under the control of the Production
Maintain a safe working environment always by conforming to established safety policies and procedures
Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the production
Work collaboratively with all other departments within the company to meet all technical and artistic requirements for the show
