Job Summary

Komola Collective seeks a Lighting Designer for the R&D of ITCH 2025, a multimedia solo play. This will be for a week at the Redbridge Drama Centre, East London. Paid at ITC/Equity rates. Apply by 20 August 2025.

Job Description

Komola Collective will be exploring multimedia elements in the R&D of ITCH, a new solo play by Turkish playwright Elvin Aydo du, directed by Filiz Ozcan, with plans to develop the work into a future touring production.

ITCH follows a woman navigating power and pressure in a male-dominated workplace. The production uses projection mapping, animation, sound, and movement to express her internal experience and external challenges.

This R&D phase will focus on how these creative elements can work together in a visually immersive and emotionally resonant performance environment.

The Lighting Designer will collaborate with the Director and creative team, to create a cohesive visual world that supports the story and integrates with other creative elements.
