Job Summary

We are looking for an Expanded Senior Production Coordinator who, working closely with the LFF Expanded Production Manager, Festivals Production Team and LFF Expanded Programmer, will support on the delivery of the festival’s public programme XR, Immersive Art and Videogames installations.

Job Description

Physical Installations

  • Liaise with artists on the technical specifications of works, including build specifications and file delivery. Ensure works are presented to the highest of standards, taking consideration for any special requirements and ensuring these are communicated and factored into the overall design of installations.

  • Work with the LFF Expanded Production Manager, Festival Production Teams, LFF Expanded Programmer, and Production partners on the design, build and launch of the physical installations. Carrying out research for possible production solutions, where required.

  • Oversee technical testing and sign-off of digital and physical access points, ensuring solutions are technically sound and any issues are resolved promptly by the technical production support team.

  • Support on the planning of audience experience at the physical exhibition, making recommendations for best-practice exhibition and accessibility standards.

  • Support on the planning, scheduling and briefing of staff at the physical exhibition, ensuring all teams and partner suppliers are well-versed in each of the pieces.

  • Act as a key member of the team during the live event period operating the physical exhibitions and installations, including providing venue management leadership, where required.

  • Lead on the management of volunteer requirements and briefing, acting as a lead point of contact in the venue.

UK-Wide

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of the festival's UK-wide programme access points, as required, including installation specifications, artist communications and briefing marketing requirements.

  • Liaise with UK-wide partners to ensure the timely delivery of evaluation and audience numbers.

Job Requirements

Knowledge & Experience

  • Significant experience working in a cultural organisation or festival in a events or production role, including demonstrable experience of working with XR, immersive technologies, and/or videogames.

  • Sound knowledge of XR and videogames technologies, file formats and devices

  • A passion for and working knowledge of storytelling through immersive technology and videogames.

  • Computer literate including experience working with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and mail merge workflows

  • A proven track record of promoting and supporting diversity and inclusion.

Skills & Approach

  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage and meet challenging deadlines

  • Ability to work independently on projects with strong reporting skills

  • A forensic attention to detail with the ability to process and format large amounts of information into clear datasets
