Louder Drama is expanding its team of LAMDA tutors for the 2026-27 academic year. We deliver high-quality LAMDA tuition in schools across London, as well as online via Zoom. We are looking for passionate actors, directors and theatre practitioners who want flexible, rewarding teaching work alongside their professional careers. At Louder Drama, we recognise that teaching often sits alongside an acting or directing career. We actively encourage our tutors to continue their creative work and value the professional experience they bring into the classroom. We are a friendly, supportive team who regularly help one another with short-term and long-term cover when professional opportunities arise. There are three types of teaching opportunities available: - Private in-school classes - Typically a five-hour school day, teaching students in 30-minute one-to-one, duo or trio lessons throughout the school day (£27 per hour). We would expect you to start with one 5 hour day per week. We interview new tutors at the beginning of September each year, and appointments are made as new school partnerships develop throughout the academic year. This means suitable applicants may not hear from us immediately, but we'll contact you when an opportunity arises in your area. Essential - - Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service. Preferred - - Previous experience teaching the LAMDA syllabus. Job Description
- Online private classes - One-to-one or duo lessons delivered remotely via Zoom or Google Meet (£27 per hour).
- After-school group classes - One-hour sessions, typically teaching groups of around 12 students (£50 per hour). We would expect you to take on 1-2 of these classes per week to begin with. Job Requirements
