The Head of Marketing and Communications will lead and shape the theatre's marketing, communications and audience development strategies to achieve ambitious growth in both our audiences and ticket sales. A lead marketeer that thrives in the balance between delivering creativity and innovation in successful marketing campaigns with commercially minded revenue generation through box office sales and growing yield as a primary driver - focussing on Price, 'Product' (our shows), Place and Promotions at the forefront of their responsibilities. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for leading a dynamic team, growing and engaging audiences, developing brand profile/reach, and ensuring Watford Palace Theatre's voice is clear, bold, and distinctive across all platforms and communication channels. The successful applicant will have significant experience in a senior marketing or communications role and a proven track record of driving sales and growing audiences. They will provide evidence of expertise in leading successful digital and traditional marketing campaigns and demonstrate expertise in digital marketing tools. They will have creative flair and an analytical mindset. Strategic Leadership - developing and implementing effective, insight and data-driven marketing strategies; shaping and overseeing an evolving socials/digital/live content creation strategy; exploring innovative and experimental marketing output with an entrepreneurial spirit.
