The role of Head of Finance will provide an attention to detail and focus to the financial aspect of Theatre School life. The School needs a Head of Finance who will ensure we continue to focus on our students' training and direct our resources accordingly. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, its students and its staff. You will provide leadership our finances and be a highly effective communicator, engaging and working with our staff, students and the marketing, student recruitment, admissions, finance and estates teams. You will have an understanding of charity governance and ensure robust reporting to statutory bodies. You will carry an empathy towards the variety of personalities and dynamics in the Theatre School, whilst also being able to maintain the course of direction. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team you will provide the insight and expertise needed to help to inform key decisions. You will always act with professionalism, confidentiality and care across all areas of work, appreciating the governance and guidelines associated with running a charity with public funds.
