Description

Job Summary

DanceSyndrome is looking for an exceptional, experienced, self-motivated, and enthusiastic Growth & Development Director with a minimum of 10 years’ work experience to lead, manage & execute DanceSyndrome’s strategy, with a specific focus in driving revenue and participation.

Job Description

Working closely with the Managing Director and Artistic Director, you will lead a team comprising the Outreach & Events Manager, Communications & Marketing Manager, and Data & Impact Manager.

This is an exciting and pivotal time for DanceSyndrome as we enter the next phase of our growth and commercialise our activities. We are seeking a strategic, creative and commercially minded leader who can build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and confidently represent the organisation. You will have a proven track record of delivering successful multi-channel campaigns that increase non-grant income, boost participation and grow audiences through targeted strategies and creative initiatives.

You will identify, engage and develop partnerships that support DanceSyndrome's ambition to become the organisation of choice for people with learning disabilities through our unique co-led delivery model and leadership opportunities. Working across sectors, you will reach under-served communities, identify barriers to access and gaps in provision, and gather evidence to shape strategy and demonstrate impact to funders.

You will be an approachable, persuasive and strategic leader who can attract new participants, increase attendance at our Community workshops, grow audiences for our Performance work and develop sustainable income opportunities that secure the long-term future of DanceSyndrome's work.

You will be passionate about inclusion in the arts and advocating for people with learning disabilities, bringing energy, ambition, strategic thinking and a willingness to deliver as well as lead.
