The expected workload is approximately 1-3 days per month, though this may flex at key reporting milestones. We need someone who genuinely knows this territory. Experience on capital projects with a total value of £250,000 or above
Solid understanding of grant compliance, drawdown processes, and funder reporting obligations
Strong financial administration skills - cashflows, reconciliations, budgets
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload around agreed deadlines
Familiarity with CIC or charity financial governance
Experience working alongside architects or project managers on capital builds
An eye for detail and a proactive communication style - we'd rather hear about a problem early than late.Job Responsibilities
Preparing and maintaining project cashflow forecasts, updated regularly throughout the project lifecycle
Reconciling grant claims against expenditure and ensuring draw-down schedules are on track
Liaising with our project team, architect/PM consultant, and Arts Council relationship manager as needed
Flagging any financial risks or compliance issues early, so we're never caught out
