Job Summary

Rodeo Productions is seeking a General Manager to join the company at an exciting time, with a growing slate of UK and international productions, including Come Alive! The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular in London and Australia, with further international dates in development.

Job Description

The role will predominantly focus on the general management of Come Alive! and associated venue operations at the Empress Museum in Earl's Court. The General Manager will work across our Soho office and onsite at the venue.

The candidate will bring skills to manage contract negotiations and compliance, operations and HR; will have the knowledge and experience to prepare and manage detailed budgets and financial statements; and will be confident in managing stakeholder relations.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has significant experience of general managing large-scale productions, while also having experience of venue management. They will need to be passionate about working on a unique production, be willing to find innovative solutions in challenging situations, and have a positive attitude.

Start Date: Ideally October 2026
Key Responsibilities available on request.

Person Specification:
- Experience and knowledge of all aspects of general managing large-scale theatrical productions, with additional experience of venue operations and management.
- Advanced financial literacy with skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Essential to be accomplished with complex spreadsheet formulas for documents such a royalty pools and recoupment schedules.
- Tact, diplomacy and discretion.
- An eye for detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion within the theatre industry.

Compensation: Dependent on experience
