Are you the sort of salesperson who asks the right question at the right moment, listens properly to the answer, and guides someone towards a piece they will treasure for decades? Have you built a career in luxury or high-end retail and found yourself wanting to sell something with a real story to tell? Then you might be exactly who we are looking for.

Job Requirements

- A strong track record in sales, ideally within luxury or high-end retail, galleries or a comparable client-facing environment
- A genuine drive to meet targets, and the persistence to follow a lead by email and phone until it converts
- Real confidence and warmth on the phone, with the curiosity to ask questions and the patience to listen
- Experience operating a CRM and keeping customer records in immaculate order
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities, with meticulous attention to detail
- A genuine enthusiasm for contemporary craft, galleries and art
- Good IT skills and clear, confident communication
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a small, close-knit team
- Flexibility to work weekend shifts as part of our rota, plus occasional evening events

Job Responsibilities

- Make sales face to face in the gallery, building genuine rapport with visitors and clienteling to guide them confidently towards a purchase
- Spot and nurture quality leads in the gallery, then follow them up by email and phone until they convert to a sale
- Take ownership of our existing pipeline of leads and find ways to lift our conversion rate
- Keep accurate customer records and operate our customer relationship management (CRM) programme, building lasting relationships with collectors in the UK and beyond
- Handle sales administration with care, including invoicing, shipping arrangements and customer correspondence
- Play a part in our evening events, from private views to exhibition openings, where some of our best client relationships begin
