Join the VOCES8 Foundation as our Fundraising Executive and help grow a fundraising programme that enables thousands of people to access high-quality music education and performance. Working closely with the Director of External Relations, you will help shape and develop our individual giving programme. Your main focus will be redeveloping our small donor offering, building relationships with supporters and delivering excellent donor stewardship. You will also contribute to wider fundraising through selected grant applications and identifying new funding opportunities. This role suits someone with fundraising experience, strong writing and organisational skills, and an enthusiasm for creating a rewarding supporter experience. You will join a small, ambitious team at an internationally respected music charity, contributing to our mission to transform lives through music. Salary: £30,000 FTE (£12,000 per annum at 0.4 FTE). Experience in a charity-sector fundraising role.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with a warm, approachable manner and confidence in building donor relationships.
Excellent writing skills, including engaging donor communications and persuasive funding applications.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
A strong affinity with the Foundation's mission to transform lives through music, and the ability to speak knowledgeably and enthusiastically about our work and impact.
Experience of planning and coordinating fundraising or stewardship events.
Experience of trust and foundation fundraising.
Experience of donor or CRM database management.Job Responsibilities
Build donor relationships through personal communication, thank-you messages and stewardship.
Administer the small donor programme, fulfil benefits and maintain accurate, GDPR-compliant donor records.
Support donor communications and appeals.
Coordinate donor events, including invitations, guest lists, logistics, budgets and follow-up.
Research trust and foundation prospects; prepare and submit selected applications and reports.
Support larger funding bids, drafting cases for support, budgets and documentation.
Gather project information, outcomes and evaluation data from colleagues; maintain the funding pipeline and application schedule.
Produce fundraising reports and supporter information, record donations and activity, support gift processing and acknowledgements, and provide fundraising administration.How to Apply
