Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Front of House Assistant to join our brand new team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting patrons (predominantly children) and assisting them throughout the experience, this includes (but not limited to) ticketing, onboarding patrons, cloakroom management, escorting patrons through the venue on numerous occasions throughout the experience, and maintaining a clean and inviting space for everyone. The Front of House Staff will also be responsible for credit card transactions, merchandise sales, interacting with patrons, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a vital role within the structure of Gateshead's newest Immersive Experience based on the popular TV show and will be a very exciting opportunity to be a part of. Key Responsibilities The role will be a mix of the responsibilities below on a rotating schedule that will mean everyone will be doing some of everything but not on every shift. Ticketing: Pulse Management: Merchandise: Room Reset: Audience Interaction: Health and Safety / Training This role may require you to have First Aid at Work and/or Fire Marshal certificates. Should this be required any training will be given. A Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role. This too can attained via the company but all employees will have to be checked as we work with children. Any training for the role will be given. Pay - £12.30 per hour Venue will be open 7 days a week for retail and varying days (depending on season) for the experience. This will be a minimum of 3 shifts per week (up to 18 hours).
