Contract Type: Fixed-Term (1 year) Pay rate: ÂŁ14.80 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking to assemble a team of front of house and bar staff to join us for an immersive experience, who will ensure a smooth customer journey while maintaining the creative world, alongside a company of actors.
The team will provide excellent customer service and engagement with audiences to ensure that they have an enjoyable and safe visit. This is a highly performative, guest-facing role, combining high-volume bar service with live interaction that enhances the immersive storytelling of the experience.
The team will work in a range of front of house and bar positions.
You will play a key part in bringing Peaky Blinders Experience to life, using presence and personality to engage guests while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
You must demonstrate confidence and experience in a public-facing role, and a passion for providing the best possible levels of service to all visitors.
This role includes working on a shared rota that includes regular evenings, weekend-working and public holidays, with the expectation of sharing these equally.

Job Requirements

Experience of delivering high standards of customer service in a visitor attraction or similar.
Previous experience working behind a bar or in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Confident, expressive and comfortable engaging with large numbers of guests.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
A flexible approach, to successfully work across the different areas of the experience.
Able to adapt performance and energy to suit guests of all ages.
Calm, organised and professional under pressure.
Good standards of presentation.
Ability to work on your own initiative and/or as part of a team.
Punctuality and situational awareness.
Knowledge of different access requirements and how to assist visitors.
Basic knowledge of H&S procedures and requirements.
Demonstrate a commitment to, and respect for, working with diverse audiences.
Desirable:
Knowledge of incident reporting and premises licence regulations.
First Aid at Work and Fire Warden trained.

Job Responsibilities

Assist guests with ticket validation and sales alongside onsite customer service and facilities queries.
Welcome and interact with guests through the visitor journey.
Assist guests in the cloakroom, checking in bags and coats, ensuring personal belongings are looked after and stored properly and process payments.
Assist guests at photo opportunities points, process payments and printouts.
Assist guests during the experience as required.
Report technical and customer issues to Duty Managers.
Assist Duty Managers with setting up and closing the venue.
Ensuring merchandise displays are topped up and report to the Duty Managers when stocks are running low.
Maximising up-selling opportunities with retail.
Deliver efficient, high-quality bar service in a busy, high-footfall environment.
Contribute to the immersive atmosphere through confident presentation and communication.
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails.
