Maak is seeking a freelance Social Media & Content Coordinator to execute campaigns across digital channels, create content aligned with our brand voice, and maintain consistency and quality throughout auction cycles for our global audience.
About Maak
Maak is a specialist auction house focused on contemporary ceramics and craft. We combine expertise with thoughtful presentation and a carefully developed brand voice. This role will support our ongoing marketing activity across social media, email, and website, building a long-term working relationship.
The Role
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused freelance role. A marketing strategy and content schedule are already in place; the role focuses on executing campaigns, creating content, and maintaining brand consistency. This is an implementation role rather than a strategic position, you will be working in collaboration with senior team members. Project budget is between £250-450 per month depending on final agreed scope of work
- 4-10+ years' experience in marketing, content creation, or campaign management (arts, culture, design, or luxury sectors preferred)
- Confident working within an established brand voice and style
- Hands-on experience implementing campaigns across social media, email, and websites
- Content creation skills: social media posts, Reels, email copy, basic graphics (Canva/Photoshop), and quick video editing
- Strong editorial judgement, visual sensitivity, organisation, and ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later); optional: paid social campaigns and basic SEO
- Independent, creative, and detail-oriented, with collaborative team skills
- Remote role with occasional in-person meetings at the Berkshire office
- Implement campaigns across social media, email, and website according to the content schedule
- Create, edit, and schedule posts, Reels and email campaigns aligned with Maak's brand voice
- Maintain consistent tone, style, and visual identity across channels
- Curate content and imagery to support auctions and campaigns
- Monitor engagement, respond to the community, and report key metrics
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and cohesive campaign delivery
- Ensure content quality and momentum throughout auction cycles
