Role Overview

You will help co-create and deliver a series of inclusive, community-led pop-up events, developed by working closely with local residents, volunteers, and partners. These events will provide creative activities, informal advice, and meaningful social connections in underused local spaces. You'll need to coordinate logistics, support volunteers, manage outreach and promotion, and gather feedback to evaluate the project's impact.

The Out and About Pop-Up project, funded by the Inclusive Communities Fund through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This place-based initiative aims to reduce social isolation, improve access to essential services, and strengthen community wellbeing across five high-need wards in North East Derbyshire.

Out & About Partnership

In Clay Cross, First Art is part of the Out and About partnership, brought together to find new and creative ways to increase walking amongst Clay Cross and Danesmoor residents. The partnership includes: North East Derbyshire District Council. DVA, Active Derbyshire, and First Art. Together we have ran events such as the Clay Cross Games, Out and About Summer Club, Badger's Christmas Trail and Get Togethers.
