Description

Job Summary

We’re looking for a creative content maker to help relaunch Elements Bar online through consistent, engaging social content. You’ll capture the venue, help shape campaign direction and turn events, people and everyday moments into content that builds real traction.

Job Description

Elements Bar is entering a new chapter and we're looking for a creative content creator to help us tell that story.

We're an independent bar and event space in Lewisham, South London. We've recently refreshed our function space, launched a new website and cocktail menu, and are now developing a stronger programme around music, culture, community events, nightlife and private hire.

We're looking for someone who can work with us creatively rather than simply follow a pre-written content calendar. You'll spend time at Elements, capture what is happening in the space, identify stories worth telling and help us develop a recognisable direction for our social content.

Content could include Reels, short-form video, event coverage, behind-the-scenes moments, interviews, cocktail and venue content, campaign concepts and content around the people who use the space.

We also want your ideas. We're looking for someone who can look at Elements, understand what we're trying to build and suggest ways of translating that into content that creates engagement and brings new people through the door.

We care more about creativity, instinct and consistency than formal qualifications or years of experience. Personal projects and self-directed work are welcome as portfolio examples.

This will initially be a freelance/project based role, with the potential to develop into a regular working relationship.

Job Requirements

We're looking for someone with a strong creative eye who understands social first content, particularly Instagram Reels and short form video.

You should be comfortable filming and editing content, working independently and coming up with ideas rather than waiting for a detailed brief.

You'll need to be confident capturing people, events and live environments, and able to turn everyday moments into engaging content.

An understanding of music, nightlife, culture, hospitality or community spaces would be a bonus.

You don't need a huge following or years of agency experience. We're interested in your ideas, taste, consistency and ability to understand what makes people want to engage with a place.

Some evening/weekend availability will be required for events.

How to Apply

Send us a short introduction along with links to your portfolio, Instagram, TikTok or examples of content you’ve created.

We’d also like to know your availability, your freelance rate and what kind of content you enjoy making.

Rather than a formal cover letter, tell us briefly what you think you could bring to Elements. If you already have an idea for something you’d like to create with us, even better.

Personal projects are absolutely welcome we’re much more interested in your creative instinct and ideas than a long CV.
