Job Description

Manchester's Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) is one of the world's most progressive and dynamic conservatoires, educating musicians to the highest level in an environment that's creatively stimulating and rich in opportunity. Placed in the Top 5 for music in the QS World University Subject Rankings and rated Gold in all areas of the most recent Teaching Excellence Framework, it is also a vibrant live music venue, offering unparalleled opportunities for students to perform to public audiences and to work alongside professional musicians and visiting artists.

We're looking for a new Financial Analyst to join our small but dedicated Finance Team. The successful candidate will work alongside the Director of Finance to analyse the financial performance of the RNCM, offering insight into current activities and assessing the viability of new activity. This opportunity would suit an experienced Finance professional looking for an interesting role offering work/life balance.

Using the newly implemented TechOne finance system, the postholder will develop enhanced reporting and analysis for both the Executive Team and Board of Governors and will work alongside the Deputy Director of Finance (Management Information) to provide accurate and meaningful financial reporting. They will also offer support to budget holders and other members of the Finance Team during peak workloads (such as year-end and audit) as required.

A Standard DBS check will be required for this role, and this role is suitable for blended working.

This is a permanent, part-time position, with a minimum 21 hours per week; previous applicants need not apply.
