The Finance Business Partner will build and maintain relationships across the Trust to enable business partnering, supporting decision-making through analysis and contributing to the overall mission, vision and values of Somerset House.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the Finance Business Partner will build and maintain relationships across the Trust to enable business partnering, supporting decision-making through analysis and contributing to the overall mission, vision and values of Somerset House.

Job Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Minimum 2-years' experience in management accounting and reporting processes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present numbers to non
financial colleagues.
A team player with a flexible, "can do" attitude, forward thinker and takes initiative to solve
problems.
Strong organisational skills: able to manage varied workload, able to work independently and
prioritise tasks.
Having a "continuous improvement" mindset, questioning processes and investigating better
alternative ways of working within the role.
Working knowledge of accounting software packages.
Experience in fund accounting is desirable.
Advanced Excel skills (SUMIF, VLOOKUP, Pivot table).
Business partnering experience in a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation.
Experience with browser-based accounting systems.
Working knowledge of databases.
