As part of our long-term commitment to representation within the film industry and as part of our strategy to continually evaluate the voices and perspectives we have in place, we are launching a call to join our Film Programme team. While our team is a mix of British and international If successful, you will join a cohort of international Programme Advisers to view and assess films submitted to Sheffield DocFest. You will make recommendations to the Creative Director about films to be considered for the Festival programme. Viewing and accessing the films we receive is an important part of the selection process and would be valuable to anyone interested in advancing their programming experience and/or expanding their knowledge of the breadth and depth of contemporary documentary filmmaking. You will join a cohort of international Programme Advisers to view and assess films submitted to Sheffield DocFest and will make recommendations to the Creative Director about films to be considered for the Festival programme. If selected, you will work for approximately 10 to 12 days between October 2025 to April 2026. The overall fee is £1200.
