Deadline for applications: 12pm, Monday 29th June 2026 We're looking for an enthusiastic and inclusive musician to lead our Fiddle group as part of Make Music Adults at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music. This weekly group is designed for adults who have completed an Absolute Beginner Fiddle course and are ready to build their confidence, develop their technique and learn new tunes in a supportive environment. Sessions take place on Thursdays from 8-9.30pm during term time, delivered in 10-week blocks. You'll lead engaging and accessible sessions, helping participants of varying abilities progress musically while fostering a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere. Working as part of our wider Make Music team, you'll contribute to planning, resource development and the ongoing growth of our folk and fiddle pathway. We're looking for someone with strong Fiddle, Violin skills or Brass skills, experience leading adult music groups, and a passion for inclusive music-making. You'll understand how to support people from a range of backgrounds and abilities, removing barriers to participation and helping learners achieve personal, social and musical outcomes.
