Job Description

The Amadeus is an independent London venue hosting weddings and private events alongside classical music, orchestral
rehearsals and performances, classes and community events. We are looking for someone reliable, practical and personable
who can take responsibility for the venue while on duty.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Prepare and reset rooms for events, rehearsals and
performances
Set up tables, chairs, music stands and acoustic carpets
Welcome clients, musicians, suppliers and contractors
Act as the Amadeus on-site contact during events
Provide basic lighting, sound and AV support
Keep equipment, storage areas and the building
organised
Close, reset and secure the venue after events
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You might come from theatre, live events, hospitality,
venue operations, music or technical production.
Practical and comfortable with physical setup work
Reliable and able to work independently
Confident and friendly with clients and suppliers
Calm and resourceful when plans change
Comfortable with basic lighting/sound, or keen to learn
Happy working evenings and weekends
HOURS & AVAILABILITY
One regular weekday shift, normally Monday, with some flexibility, Standard days are 9-5 or 10-6, Additional shifts are arranged around the programme and
may include weekday orchestra/rehearsal setups, Friday and Saturday events, evening work and occasional shorter shifts of
around four hours. There are relatively few early starts, but some events finish around 1am, so being within easy travelling
distance of the venue is highly desirable.
