Job Summary

As part of the team of Partnerships & Events, manage, coordinate, support and deliver the annual global events programme of workshop and theatre events from start to finish. Planning an events calendar that delivers to all stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Deliver the successful execution of year-round and one-off events
  • To deliver events from conception to completion ensuring health & safety is always a priority
  • Liaising and booking theatres 18 months in advance to ensure availability of venues.
  • Research and find suitable theatres/venues for events
  • Ensure site visits are created to all venues to check suitability for children.
  • Be the initial point of contact for all event-related enquiries ensuring they are resolved in a timely and professional manner
  • Management of the events budget through collaboration with the team to ensure tight cost control and increased profit
  • Create new ideas based on the evaluation of previous events, new trends and franchisee feedback
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
  • Ensure events are run smoothly and effectively
  • Liaise with our safeguarding team to ensure that all aspects are adhered to at the event and that a risk assessment and method statement has been carried out for all events and documented
  • Generate new external links, leading to affiliations and new working relationships
  • Support and advise out network of franchisees with their own events, ensuring all licenses and relevant paperwork has been arranged.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required
  • Drive self-development through ongoing research and networking
  • Role requires extensive travel

  • Able to work under pressure with attention to detail
  • Availability to accommodate weekend work
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and strong team player
  • Professionally reflective and desire to look for areas of improvement
  • Budget management
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Good understanding of safeguarding H&S and risk assessments,
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Google suite
  • Understanding of Qlab Video & Sound
  • Full driving licence essential

Qualifications

  • Degree level or experience in stage or event management/other relevant qualification for at least 3 years.
