There are two strands to this brief. Ideally, we are looking for one organisation to deliver both strands but will consider bids for one of the strands where this brings added value to the project.

Job Description

Strand 1 Evaluation
Cheshire East Council seek to commission the evaluation of Phase 2 of the Crewe Step Change Project and the refining of an Evaluation Toolkit for our delivery partners, Crewe Creates CIC, to use going forward. This work will build upon the evaluation of Maker Fest October 2024-Februrary 2025

Strand 2 Business Development
Cheshire East Council is looking to commission a Sustainability and Business Development Plan, informed by the evaluation findings, which includes governance, organisational capacity, operating model options, financial sustainability, NPO readiness and a practical implementation roadmap.

Job Requirements

Experienced at developing Evaluation Frameworks and Sustainability and Business Development Plans, as detailed in the Evaluation and Business Development & Sustainability Brief, for for our delivery partners, Crewe Creates CIC in relation to the Crewe Step Change Project

Job Responsibilities

To deliver the outcomes identifies in the Evaluation and Business Development & Sustainability Brief.
Final Deliverables
The final commission should result in:
1. Final Evaluation Report.
2. Evaluation Toolkit.
3. Sustainability and Business Development Plan.
4. NPO Readiness Assessment.
5. Operating Model Options Appraisal.
6. Executive Summary suitable for funders, stakeholders and strategic partners.
7. Presentation of findings and recommendations to Cheshire East Council, Crewe Creates CIC and key stakeholders

The fee for this work is expected to be in the region of £20,000 in total or £10,000 per strand
