The Engagement and Events Team deliver a busy and diverse programme of events to support Tate's fundraising and engagement objectives. This crucial role will lead on devising and delivering the Patrons event programme with the intention of deepening Patrons' engagement with Tate. Working closely with the Head of Engagement & Events and the wider team and with the Senior Patrons Manager in the Individual Giving Team, you will manage events on and off site and play a key role in the success of each project. Your impeccable organisational skills will result in a smooth-running projects that strengthen and broaden Tate's relationships and deepen Patrons' engagement with Tate. You will have a proven track record of handling multiple projects at one time, calmly working under pressure and of strong relationship management through events, ideally within an arts environment. You will have an excellent eye for detail, strong written and verbal communication skills and a good grasp of CRM databases and effective contact relationship management. In 2027, the Tate Young Patrons will celebrate its 20-year anniversary. This will be a key moment to deepen engagement with the next generation of arts philanthropists. A keen interest in or knowledge of the visual arts, particularly the areas covered by Tate Collection.
Excellent organisational and administration skills, with ability to juggle competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
Experience and capability of working with high level donors or prospects or equivalent (either in an events or fundraising capacity).
Ability to manage, delegate and coach to achieve results and develop team members.
Confident in communicating with senior members of staff, donors and VIPs through written communication and in person.
Ability to think and plan both laterally and strategically with a forward-looking and creative approach.

Ensure the programme of events supports the patron team's fundraising objectives, in collaboration with relevant colleagues.
Work closely with the Senior Patrons Manager to ensure the Patron's programme is delivered within budget, working closely with the Head of Engagement and Events, to ensure activity is managed in the most cost-effective way. Work closely with the other members of the Engagement and Events Team and wider colleagues to ensure the full programme of activity is coordinated successfully and all opportunities for advocacy and cultivation events are maximised and used efficiently and effectively.
