Rinova Ltd are currently seeking an Employer Liaison and Engagement Lead Officer to support delivery across a range of funded projects in skills, employability and training.

Job Description

The Employer Liaison & Engagement Lead Officer supports delivery of funded employability projects by building and sustaining employer networks across the hospitality and creative industries, with a particular focus on the London Borough of Southwark. The role acts as a bridge between employers and local residents, brokering employment, placement and progression opportunities while supporting inclusive recruitment practices. The postholder works closely with employers to understand workforce needs, engages them in programme activity such as steering groups and events, and collaborates with internal teams to align employer engagement with participant outcomes. The role requires strong relationship-building skills, sector knowledge and a commitment to supporting individuals into sustainable employment.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in recruitment, employer engagement, job brokerage or business development within skills or employability contexts
  • Knowledge of hospitality and/or creative industries and their employment pathways
  • Ability to build and sustain strong employer relationships
  • Experience matching candidates to job, placement or progression opportunities
  • Strong communication and relationship-management skills
  • Confidence representing an organisation externally
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Experience maintaining records in line with GDPR
  • Commitment to inclusive recruitment and equality of opportunity

Job Responsibilities

  • Build and manage employer networks across creative and hospitality sectors
  • Identify and engage new employers to support programme delivery
  • Broker employment, placements and employer-led opportunities
  • Act as the main point of contact for participating employers
  • Support employer onboarding and engagement activity
  • Deliver presentations and attend networking and stakeholder events
  • Maintain accurate employer engagement and outcomes data
  • Work closely with project teams to align employer activity with participant needs
  • Promote inclusive recruitment and progression practices
  • Represent Rinova professionally and uphold organisational values
