PQA, a leading provider of weekend performing arts tuition, is currently recruiting for an Poppets Academy Assistant in Selby on a Saturday AM 9.45 - 11.45AM pay meets National Minimum wage. You will need a passion for working with children aged 4 - 6 years old, to help with the running of our classes. PQA follows safer recruiting. An enhanced DBS on the update service will be required and can be arranged. Saturday Mornings in Term time Key Responsibilities: - Support lead teachers in planning and delivering age-appropriate performing arts activities, including drama, dance, and music. - Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for young children. - Assist with classroom management to ensure smooth running of sessions. - Encourage participation and engagement from all pupils, adapting approaches to meet individual needs. Help prepare resources and materials required for lessons and performances. Support health and safety procedures within the academy setting.
