Job Summary

OpenView Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Drama Workshop Facilitators to deliver our scripted Anti-Bullying workshops in primary schools. The sessions use drama, storytelling and interactive activities to help pupils explore important topics in a memorable and engaging way.

Production dates:
For this role, we are looking for workshop facilitators with availability during the following weeks:

- w.c Monday 26th October 2026
- w.c Monday 2nd November 2026
- w.c Monday 9th November 2026
- w.c Monday 16th November 2026
- w.c Monday 23rd November 2026

Casting details:

Zoom Audition:
- Tuesday 18th August 2026 or
- Wednesday 19th August 2026

This will be a first round group interview on Zoom. It will last approximately 20 minutes.

In-Person Group Audition:
- Wednesday 26th August 2026

The second round will be an in person group audition at a London Location.

This will be an activities based audition, you will also perform an excerpt from two of our Workshops.

This round will last approximately three hours.

We aim to make our in-person auditions supportive, interactive and fun - we're sure you'll enjoy the day.

Job Requirements

Essential:

- Confident in journey planning to a variety of locations and excellent with timekeeping.

- Experience of working with large groups of primary aged or secondary aged students, at least 25 students in one group at a time.

- Reliable with a proven track record of working independently.

- See the value of working with children and young people to help them to live successful, happy lives, by using drama and theatre as a tool to do this.

- Willing to travel in your own vehicle, or another suitable form of transport.

- Positive, 'can-do' attitude.

All performers must have:

- A current enhanced DBS check. (Within 3 years, or on the update service.) If you need to have one processed, we can arrange this at your own cost.

- A Laptop with PowerPoint (Offline Version)

- Bluetooth Speaker (This can be small - Used as a backup)

Job Responsibilities

What a typical day is like as an OpenView Education Facilitator:

- Arriving at the school in the morning, signing in at reception and showing your DBS and ID.

- Meet your contact teacher and get set up in the hall or workshop space, so you're ready to start by 9am.

- Your first session is an interactive puppetry performance for Reception, Years 1 and 2, using a living puppet.

- You then deliver an interactive assembly for Years 3 and 4 that involves discussions and activities.

- Take a break for lunch, relax in the staff room or nip out and grab a coffee (Most day structures allow for an hour lunch break.)

- You then deliver workshops for individual classes with Year 5 and 6, facilitating drama based activities and role-plays. Session times range from 45 - 60 minutes and are tailored to the year groups you are working with.

- You'll usually finish around 3:15pm to 3:30pm, saying goodbye to the school team who loved your visit and travel home knowing you made a difference.
