We are looking for an enthusiastic assistant to support our experienced Drama tutor with the running of the After School Club which is taking place at the Community Association for West Hampstead. The drama sessions run every Thursday during the spring term, w/c 12th Jan - w/c 23rd March (with a break over Feb half term - w/c 16th Feb), 3:30 - 5pm. The After School Club is open to year 1,2 and 3 students. Salary: £15/h (£22.50 /session) You are enthusiastic about working with children and have an interest in drama. You hold an in date enhanced DBS. Workshop Delivery - The general role of the Workshop Assistant is to support the Workshop tutor with the running of the After School Club and to provide an interesting and safe environment for children to explore their creativity. Contribute to new ideas and ensure best practice - by providing feedback, taking a creative approach to delivery whilst maintaining the high standard of our sessions. Prepare sessions, set up and tidy up before/after sessions and maintain instructional materials - Prepare sessions to ensure smooth running of your workshops. Set up the hall with tables, chairs and all needed equipment before the start of the workshop. Please leave the hall tidy after your workshop. Look after equipment and all material. Complete monitoring and feedback - Assist the Project Organiser and Workshop Tutor with collecting feedback from children and parents. Comply with all CAWH and school Policies and Procedures - including Health & Safety, Safeguarding and Equality.
