Director of Development, Brighton Dome & Festivals

From the annual Brighton Festival in May, a year-round programme of live events by world renowned artists and performers at Brighton Dome, to inspiring the next generation of musicians with our Create Music regional education hub.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Director of Development to provide strategic direction and inspired leadership for Brighton Dome & Festival's fundraising activities. You will work closely with the Chief Executive to review fund-raising strategy and track progress with donors, company sponsors and patrons to secure more funding for our charity. You will also work with our Chair and other Board members to progress and develop our fundraising potential to ensure the department is on target to meet our KPI's and fund-raising targets.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding development professional whose experience has been gained within the arts or charity sectors. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of working closely with senior leadership, playing a key role in shaping and executing successful philanthropic strategies.

Importantly, you will have a demonstrated ability to deliver results in major gift programmes and capital campaigns, with a clear focus on long-term impact and the ability to maintain engagement.
