'A Place for Me' has been in development for 2 years and is ready to move forward with a short R&D and WIP sharing this October. From November, the show will head to Taiwan for the next stage of development. Project lead is Tom Rigby and he is joined by Zheng Yin Yin, an artist based in Taipei. We are looking for a Mandarin and English speaking director for 2 days of development and 2 days R&D, paid at £110 per day 10am - 6pm Mandarin and English speaking director with an interest in early stage projects. This is an intimate, family story and will require emotional sensitivity from our team. 2 Days development with Tom the creative team. Collaboration with artists in the room, it's only 2 days with the actors so not expecting anything polished, it's more about getting the words off the page, seeing the characters in action and hearing the songs performed live. We will film/audio record sections of the R&D to take into the next phase in Taiwan.
