iPAN Performing Arts North is looking for an inspiring and engaging theatre director to come on board to develop and lead on our academy programme and young artist training company. The right candidate will have an infectious enthusiam, enabling company members to develop individual skills in a creative and experimental way, and the ability to engage both those who have completed degrees as well as those with little to no experience. The role could be right for a performer wanting to move into more of a directing role. We are looking for someone who is interested in working collaboratively across disciplines - theatre, music and dance/movement, and with a range of skills and experience across performance styles. There will be scope for the right person to develop their role within the company and to get involved with other projects and productions outside the academy. The criteria for this role are based on experience, creative vision and the ability to communicate - instilling confidence and passion. As a company dedicated to providing opportunity and removing barriers to access, our hiring reflects this. Any and all backgrounds will be considered. The role will include leading sessions from 1 - 4 on Saturday afternoons, and working with the company director to develop the programme. To start, we are looking at a pay schedule of £120 per 3 hour session. To apply, please send a short cover letter and CV to the Company Director, listed below.
