JMI Development Lead / Fundraising Manager Jewish Music Institute (JMI) seeks a strategic and creative Development Lead / Fundraising Manager to lead and grow our fundraising efforts. This key role suits someone with experience across trusts and foundations, individual giving, corporate sponsorships, and digital campaigns. As JMI shifts from a community-based donor model to a more structured and diverse funding strategy, this role will help shape our future sustainability and impact. Minimum 5 years' experience in fundraising within the arts, music, or non-profit sectors. Proven success securing income from trusts, foundations, and individual donors. Strong strategic planning, communication, and storytelling skills. Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven fundraising. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team. Desirable: experience with public sector funders or cultural institutions, knowledge of Jewish culture and music, digital fundraising tools, and event planning. The Development Lead / Fundraising Manager will play a central role in shaping and delivering JMI's fundraising strategy. This position requires a proactive and strategic approach to income generation across a range of funding streams, including trusts and foundations, individual giving, corporate sponsorships, and digital campaigns. Working closely with the CEO and wider team, the postholder will ensure fundraising activities are aligned with JMI's mission, programming calendar, and long-term sustainability goals. The role also involves maintaining key funder relationships, particularly with Arts Council England, and contributing to reporting and future funding applications.
