Team Leadership and Supervision Rollout: Support the Stage Manager with administrative tasks, including purchase reconciliation, maintaining documentation, and learning payroll and invoice processes to provide cover when required. In the Stage Manager's absence, coordinate Assistant Technical Stage Manager shift changes and sickness cover. Manage the repair, replacement, and sourcing of props, working with General Management and Creative teams as needed. Monitor prop stock levels, lifespan, and maintenance, recommending alternative materials or suppliers where appropriate. Assist with the upkeep of loaned props and oversee maintenance and repairs. Learn and provide cover for both the Stage Manager and Technical Assistant Stage Manager roles as required. Job Description
Support the Stage Manager in the leadership of the stage management team, including ensuring that Technical Assistant Stage Managers' (TASM) daily pre-sets and maintenance are held to high standards.
Support the Stage Manager in the management of stage management team welfare.
Handle cast changes and swing requests during performances, when required.
Support the Performers, Technical and Stage Management, Wardrobe, FoH and Venue Management teams in any potentially conflicting or emergency code situations and stepping in to deescalate throughout the experience. This may include managing audiences, addressing damaged scenery or technical issues, attending medical incidents (with escalation to first aiders), supporting distressed individuals (with FoH and line managers available), and ensuring safe spaces by removing physical or biohazards (with escalation to VM). Responsibilities may also involve taking statements and logging incidents.Job Requirements
Contract period: as soon as possible, until 14 March 2027
Opening Hours and Working Hours: The experience is open 7 days a week. Working hours will normally fall between 8am and 11pm.
Weekly time commitment: You will be scheduled to work minimum 24 hours across 3 days per week. £405.84 per week.
Contract type and length: This is a self-employed fixed term contract, which includes holiday pay and SSP. After initial contract, there is potential to renew subject to performance and offer.
Leave Embargo: To ensure sufficient staffing, and parity across the crew pool in key periods, leave embargoes will be in place from 24 October 2026 to 30 October 2026 (inclusive), 02 November 2026 to 15 November 2026 (inclusive), 21 December 2026 to 03 January 2027, 13 February 2027 to 19 February 2027 (inclusive), and 01 March to 14 March 2027 (inclusive) during which time we will not be considering any holiday or NA requests.Job Responsibilities
