We are seeking a Curatorial Assistant based in London.

The Curatorial Assistant will support the Curator in delivering the Foundation's exhibition programme in London and will work closely with the Collection Manager on registrarial duties and the organisation of the collection.

This role includes production coordination, collection handling, space oversight, and welcoming visitors. It is well-suited to someone motivated, organised, and deeply interested in contemporary art. Previous experience in a contemporary art organisation is required.

The Curatorial Assistant would work from the Foundation 2.5 days per week: Thursday and Friday, 10am - 6pm and Saturday 2pm - 6pm.

Salary: £1200/month.

Job Requirements

- Based in London.

- Excellent spoken and written English.

- Strong understanding of contemporary art and the cultural context of the Foundation.

- Organised, reliable, and capable of working independently.

- At least 3 years of experience in a cultural organisation in similar role.

Job Responsibilities

Responsabilities:

Curatorial & Production Support:

- Assist in the planning and delivery of exhibitions, installations, and events in London.;

- Coordinate logistics, artist communication, schedules, and production tasks.

Registrarial Duties

- Assist with Collection and inventory organisation.

- Maintain accurate records of artworks, loans, and documentation.

- Liaise with couriers, shippers, and external partners when necessary.

- Ensure best practices in artwork care and storage.

Visitor Engagement & Space Oversight

- Welcome visitors during opening hours and provide information about exhibitions and the programme.

- Ensure the exhibition space is well presented and functioning properly.
